Avi Gandhi is the Executive Vice President of Digital for Wheelhouse Group. A seasoned digital media executive with 12+ years at the intersection of technology and entertainment, he has broad experience from strategy and dealmaking to operations and growth marketing.
Most recently, Avi ran the global marketing team for Alibaba- and Softbank-backed social gaming startup, SameTable Games, where he restructured their social, digital, and influencer marketing strategies to acquire 1.5 million users over four months while reducing their cost per install by over 50%.
In his previous major role, as an Agent focused on Digital Media at WME, he helped build the agency’s gaming, podcasting, crowdfunding, and digital talent revenue streams, and represented the digital media businesses of A-list digital and traditional media celebrities, earning recognition on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and Variety’s New Leaders lists.
He left WME in 2016 to build the world’s first 360 gaming video creation platform and spent the next two years working with startups and game publishers like Survios and Fig on their entertainment and influencer marketing and business development strategies, before ending up at SameTable.
Avi started his career while a student at Yale, as an Editor at DCM Ventures-backed startup Wikinvest, where he managed a distributed team of more than a dozen writers and launched their Alternative Energy industry coverage.
In his spare time, he advises startups like JPL-spinout, AstroLabs, and works to increase millennial community engagement via his membership in the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers.
